    As a cheap lightweight coat off amazon I wasn’t expecting much. I just wanted a raincoat that actually keeps my dog dry, so many let water in , this one so far has kept her dry , covers her well and I love the colour. For me the harness hole is in right place for perfect fit harness. I use a martingale collar to as she’s a lurcher. It’s also light enough to pack into my bumbag easily. I have washed it a few times and she wears in regularly so it has lasted quite well considering it was cheap and I wasn’t expecting much. Have paid much more for coats that don’t fit well and aren’t actually waterproof. My dog is only a medium sized lurcher, 26″ back and chest, she needed the XL size and it fits good, I’m not sure these coats would actually fit a greyhound or bigger lurcher.

    I purchase this coat in yellow for my whippet x collie in a size medium. It fits her well, covering her tail bone area. I put her harness over her coat as I clip on both rings at the top and chest as she tends to pull. My other dog (Saluki/greyhound) wears her harness underneath which is best otherwise she doesn’t like the restraint of the coat against her legs. The coat keeps her dry, though it may be too warm to wear in warmer rainy months. I am happy with the purchase, though it would be a lot better if the hole for the lead was further down to fit a harness better than at the collar end (or have two holes), but I think most coats are made this way.
