Reduced Plastic Packaging

Here at Ancol we feel strongly about the reduction of single use plastic. This is why our new coats only feature a lightweight protective bag for transport purposes. We have removed the old rigid and heavyweight packaging.

How to choose the right coat

This coat is available in 7 sizes;

  • Extra Small – 25cm length and up to 43 cm girth
  • Small – 30cm length and up to 52cm girth
  • Small/Medium – 35cm length and up to 56cm girth
  • Medium – 40cm length and and up to 65cm girth
  • Large – 50cm length and up to 79cm girth
  • Extra Large – 60cm length and up to 86cm girth
  • Extra Extra Large – 70cm length and up to 98cm girth

Ancol Began hand tailoring dog coats back in 1971. Since then, our style, quality and functionality has been the benchmark for quality pet wear. Ancol selects materials and fabrics that help to keep your dog warm or dry, or both at the same time.

In 2021 we enhanced our coats. Changes include; new ripstop fabric, Improved waterproof coating, sealed zip, double stitched leg straps, new 35cm S/M size to bridge the gap between the Small and Medium.

Stormguard coats : The details make all the difference

  • Stormguard coat provides full coverage for your pet’s chest and body, as well as featuring a waterproof surface to keep your dog as clean and dry as possible. This coat has an internal fleece lining providing thermal protection against colder conditions and blustery winds to keep your dog warm and snug during their walks.
  • The Stormguard Dog Coat has been designed with adjustable hook and loop spine fastenings, as well as elasticated leg straps and an elasticated neck hole. Delivering a secure and comfortable fit for various breeds, making it ideal for a number of different outdoor adventures to suit the varying needs of dogs and their owners.
  • The coat features reflective edging tape for added safety, increasing visibility in low light conditions so you and your dog can remain safe and seen.
  • The Stormguard Dog Coat has been designed with a convenient zippered harness slot, located at the top of the coat sitting along your dog’s back. This allows for quick and simple lead attachment to your dog’s walking or travel harness, which can be fitted underneath the coat allowing you to remain in control of your dog at all times with ease.
  • It is also machine washable at 30°C allowing you to give the coat a thorough, easy clean, ready for your next muddy walk.

WHO WE ARE

Ancol Pet Products is an independent, family-owned company specialising in the supply of pet accessories for dogs, cats and small animals. From our West Midlands base in Walsall we’ve been developing pet products for discerning pet owners. In July 2021 we celebrated our 50th birthday!

When we first began, our focus was on leather dog collars and leads, which are still made in our factory today. The range and the company have expanded over the years.

    Always struggled to find coat for my dog that fits really well. This coat wraps round her, has elastic at back of coat to fit her back legs in to stop the coat blowing up in windy weather which are not too tight and its great to wear with her harness

    Finally found the right fitting coat for my puppy. She is long but slim. Measures 45 cm from neck to tail and 35 cm around chest. There is plenty of room for growth. The leg elastic fits well but she wears it without. She had no issues at all chasing her ball as there was no restriction from the coat. I’d highly recommend for any fur baby as it’s so versatile.
