We consider ‘real food’ to be free from ‘meat meal’ and other artificial nasties! Meat meal is made by rendering meat and all sorts of other animal remains at high temperatures and pressure to turn it into a brown, dry powder. Yuck!

    I have not used this yet, bought in preparation for the arrival of my puppy next week.I chose it because it has a good level of protein for a growing puppy, is a complete food and contains no nasty additives

    I have been feeding my super fussy little dog McAdams tray food which uses very high quality ingredients and she lapped it up. The only draw back was the cost at £4 per tray? I knw right, but she loved it all the same. Deserate to try and find an equally good quality product, I have been trying her with everything from Encore to Lilys Kitchen….both a big thumbs DOWN from my doggy. Then I came across this Edgard & Cooper range – I tried Lila (13 yr) with the senior chicken and salmon and oh boy, I could hardly get it out of the tray before she was on it. Literally, dsappeared before my very eyes. Thats a first……..what a HIT! Buying more from the range now. Another thing, what FANTASTIC VALUE at £1.12 per tray. Seriously impressed. I will be telling all my friends with equally fussy pooches. Thank you Edgard & Cooper – great job!

    This grain free variety of Edgard & Cooper wet dog food is aimed at senior dogs aged 8+ years old. Made with 42% chicken and 14% salmon along with sweet potatoes, broccoli and cranberries the food also contains herbs, botanicals and glucosamine and chondroitin. Apart from looking good and smelling pleasant to the human nose, it rates very highly on the All about Dog Food guide and does not contain any nasties.We normally feed our Labrador Orijen kibble but since he started on a new tablet regime for his arthritis and pains we have had to get something which we could disguise the daily tablets in while keeping an eye on his weight. This Edgard and Cooper senior wet food has been a huge success and our boy absolutely loves it. The added bonus for us is that we are able to crush up his medication in it and he doesn’t notice – win/win! 5*

    We give it to are puppy when giving him salmon oil in the morning and also his worm tablets. It’s a nice mousse consistency, no nasty in it and he loves it.
