The Skinner’s family have been milling at Stradbroke in Suffolk since 1688, it’s a family heritage that stretches back over seven generations.
Much has changed since the early days of wind power and horse-drawn carts, the old mill has long since gone to be replaced by the very latest state of the art machinery, but the same family passion for producing high quality dog food still continues today.
We strive to always offer our customers consistently excellent products and because we have total control over the manufacturing process, we can ensure we use only the highest quality natural ingredients, sourced locally wherever possible.

My puppy loves this food and seems to be doing great, no loose stools , nice coat and because she loves this food she tries to eat it as fast as she can so had to buy a slow feeder bowl

The bags get bigger – and it’s keeping dry and moist correctly with a good seal peg- the young pooch loves the taste and I like the size of the nuggets so they eat a little more slowly- it’s far more cost effective to have this size if you have a place to store it away from the dogs night time prowls…

High quality puppy food. The nuggets are a good size though possibly too big for toy breeds of dogs. My miniature poodle loved it and ate it all up, it agreed with his sensitive digestive system too.

My only gripe with this food is that it is starting to get into the realms of other premium foods out there and Skinners traditionally have avoided this by offering quality ingredients at a very sensible price. However that aside this is an excellent food, great ingredients and my dogs love it. I rate Skinners and this is no different.
