I read the reviews and they were so varied about thickness, quality etc it took me a long to decide to buy, but I figured whatever arrived would be better than having 2 frequently wet, muddy or sandy dogs again loose in the house/car again this winter. Actually I was very pleasantly surprised. I bought a medium for my young cockerpoo and the XL for my labradoodle. Both in the red material. The medium is a bit big but he’s not finished growing and filling out yet so I fold the neck back and the Velcro on body let’s you adjust it easily for a snug fit. The XL fits the 25Kg labradoodle perfectly like I had it made for him. He’s big, long and tall but slender like his standard poodle dad so it wraps really well under him, but might not cover so brilliantly on a chunkier breed. Being microfibres they’re light weight even when wet. The boys are happy wearing them and they work brilliantly to keep them snuggly warm and get them dried quicker with minimal mess to me. The Velcro fastening is good and strong with a wide area meaning better adjustment and there are well placed thickish elastic hind leg straps like a horse rug to keep the back end fixed down in place. Very pleased with the quality, it’s actually superb. The material is thick for micro fibre to start with and then is sewn as double thickness on the whole garment with cotton edge bindings and a little loop on the neck to hang it up on a coat hook from. Very pleased I chose this one.

I purchased the large size as my cocker spaniel is a bit chunky. Went on our usual walk today and she was soaking from lots of swimming in the lake. Back to the car and she’s still dripping with water. I wrapped her up with the dog bathrobe which fitted really well. She’s usually shivering in the car and dripping water everywhere but the bathrobe kept her warm and free from dripping. I left it on her for about 2 hrs and when I took it off she was almost completely dry, her hair is about 1 inch long at the moment so she usually takes ages to dry off. The bath robe was much heavier as it had soaked up most of the water. I’ve not yet washed it. It takes a lot to impress me and I know it’s ‘only’ a dog bathrobe but it really is fantastic. Wish I’d bought one years ago.Well madeVery absorbentDelivery was very fast.Packaging was great.Great product10/10.

Perfect drying robe. Nice and thick and absorbent keeps my dog well covered and drys them quickly.Far better than other brands I’ve tried. I’ll be buying a couple more.

Purchased two of these for Christmas for my dachshund crosses. Dogs are 9 kg and we ordered small size. They looked big when we opened the packet, but we’re actually a good fit. They are soft and absorbent and I would only imagine they will be better once washed. Dogs look really cute in them and they stop them from shaking and making everything wet after a bath. Would highly recommend these.

We have a soppy and stupid Golden Doodle who loves a good bath. Her ability to hold onto water is incredible, and usually she’s a 3 towel dryer. Value wise it was pretty good too. From what I can see with regards to build quality, it’s almost identical to those you see on places like Ruff and Tumble but about 1/3 the price.Sizewise, the details in the listing for measuring were pretty accurate. The level of floof on our Ginny pup meant that the coat was a little snug but the next size up would have been too big. What I’ve found from the first couple of uses is that a reasonably snug fit works well as it encourages the transfer of water from mutt to towel. So far so good, and it’s rather joyous to have a doggo that can’t shake water all over the walls after a bath. Ultimately a good experiment and I think we’ll invest in one for our other small doodle too.

I bought the medium size for my cocker spaniel and it’s a perfect fit. He loves it for after his winter walks to warm up. If I have to leave the dog in the car while I’m shopping during the winter, I also pop this on him to keep him cosy for the whole time.

This is brilliant for my spaniel who makes the most of every walk, so in the Autumn and Winter is normally wet and muddy when she gets home. She likes it so much better than a dry bag as she can move around as she is drying off. We first used it on a very wet holiday in Yorkshire and it performed very well keeping the dog warm and dry after a walk and it could be worn with a car harness when travelling back to our accommodation after a day out.

The coat is made to a high standard and seems good quality. The size is true to description and there is plenty of length in the depth of the coat and Velcro wrap to fit dogs of different breeds with deeper chests. The hood/collar can be pulled forward to keep the neck area warm or worn folded back like a thick collar. My Jack Russel Terrier is looking most comfortable in his new coat after a bath today. I will choose this make/seller for my next purchase for my Collie who goes to Hydrotherapy as it feels like a double sided/thickness plus the wide Velcro strap making it ideal to keep her wrapped up after a swim. I would recommend this product.
