I ordered this for my small Shih Tzu puppy who is 13 weeks old. I thought that it might be a bit big for him but the small size fitted him perfectly. This is certainly what other reviewers pointed out…be sure to order a bigger size than you think you will need. Having said that I really love this jacket. It’s well made and padded so pup will be warm and dry. We have to be careful zipping it up as it would be easy to trap hairs in the zip so as long as your pup stays still (ish) it’s easy to put on. At least you are not having to put anything over the dogs head. You dog just steps into it and you zip up the back… I’m aware I’ve made that sound easier than it inevitably is with an excited dog! It has attached rings on the back so no need for a harness as you just clip your lead to the rings. This is a great jacket and good value for money.

I loved this dog jacket which was of high quality. However whilst it fitted my shitzu/cairn boy, it was quite tight so I am returning it and getting the larger size. I bought XXL and realise now he needs the XXXL. I thought that sounded like it was going to be enormous but he’d have to go on a strict diet to wear the size I bought. I can’t wait for the next size up to arrive because it’s such a smart outfit.

I have a Shit Zhu who is larger than most of his breed (not overweight). I had purchased one of these coats for my friends little dog who is female. The coat impressed me so much I got one for my dog. I measured my dog and came to the conclusion an XXX Large was what was needed. The fit was perfect and I was genuinely thrilled until on our walk he raised his leg and I could not see evidence. Anyway it seems these coats are perfect for little girl dogs but for boys they cover the important bit so when we got home the coat was soaking wet. Not to be outdone I made a small alteration and hemmed the tummy part of the coat tapering it to the sides. I am happy to say all it working fine now and I would definitely consider another as these are smart and warm and my little chap strutts along proudly in it.

This is second coat I got from this supplier and it is fitting perfectly. The size works well and my hairless Chinese crested girl can be warm outside (with a sweater under) Coat does not restrict her moves and she looks much happier since we have it. It is also great protection from mud and water.She is also happy that a collar is no longer required! I have purchased the same type of coat (same size) from a different supplier in Amazon and sizing were much too small, when this one fits perfectly.On that note – first coat I got from this supplier (same size different colour) the easy lead attachment broke rather spectacularly when our dog(8-month-old Chinese crested puppy) tried too eagerly befriend another dog on the walk. So if your dog likes to pull and have the power to pull, you should consider carrying collar with you for an emergency situation.

I bought this easy- on jacket for my Yorkie/ Cross who is still growing as she’s only 4 months old as is too small yet to use the jackets of my last little dog.I cannot praise it high enough!! It is a doddle to put on her .. legs in… wrap around and zip up!!! and fits like it’s been made to measure. It is soft and warm like wearing a duvet and importantly soft around the “armholes”.An added bonus are the 2 D rings which .. provided the jacket fits snugly .. could possibly eliminate the need for a harness.She’s just grown out of her first furry lined coat which was a nightmare to put on as the Velcro fastening was underneath down her front, meaning I had to put it on her in my arms or laid flat in her bed .. and to try to get it on a wriggling puppy was a nightmare.She did manage to wriggle out of it whilst I was writing this, but I had just tried it in her in the house.. I’m sure she will grow into it!!!

Bought this for my imperial shitzu, he is fairly small but stocky. The sizing of these is a little off, I started with the small which was too small, then ordered the medium, and again too small, ordered the large which fits perfect, he is not a big dog and would not have thought he would need large, so keep this in mind when ordering. Once the size was right, I am very happy with this coat and my dog is happy to wear it. Easy to zip on and not too thick that he can’t move and nice colour range.

I love this coat for my 9 month old jack russle molly. she is 5.1kgs and I got a M she is quite long so is a little short near the bum but fits perfect everywhere else. she is funny and hates anything around her neck. so this is brilliant for her. it’s so easy to get on and off after walks. I will defo be buying the same coat in different colours and sizes if she grows any more (:

Waterproof at a reasonable price nice wee coats. I have a 8.5 kg medium sized Cavalier King Charles Spaniel the XXL fits her perfectly. If your Cav is carrying a bit of weight it won’t be a great fit so be honest with yourself. My Standard Yorkshire terrier she is NOT a tea cup Yorkie is wearing the XL it’s perfect length wise but a bit loose around her neck chest but fits decent enough for everyday wear.

I’ve a small yorkie…..weights about 2.5kg so wasn’t sure if this coat would be small enough. Fits perfectly now that he’s fully grown, had managed a few houdini like escapes from it originally so I don’t use the lead on the clasps on the coat but keep it on his collar (just in case). Doesn’t interfere with his ability to walk etc. Kept him dry on rainy walks so far. Very happy with purchase

I can’t comment on the waterproof yet. I read reviews before I ordered and took note what people said about the size. I ended up ordering L but they are on the big side for my 2 chihuahua x jack chi’s. I would have been better with medium but they are wearable so decided to keep them. Good product.
