    I like this lead so much I bought a second one for our new dog. It is a good length, comfortable on the hand, and seems pretty strong. You can even grab the lead by the loop formed by the length adjustment with your second hand as a sort of informal traffic handle for better control in tight spaces as well.The metal ring just below the main handle is good for clipping the lead to something – like the D-rings on my van cargo area – if you have a spare carabiner or some other type of clip.We use it for our GSD-Malamute cross and our Malinois, both of which are quite powerful dogs. The GSD-Malamute is a 37kg beast that lunges all out at other dogs sometimes and can pull very hard, but the lead has held up well.We have an expensive leather lead, and several other types, that we rarely use – we generally tend to use this one all the time.There are two things you have to watch though.1). The screw barrel on the carabiner can position itself in a way that it blocks the catch from springing fully closed. This caught me out one day when I was too lazy to screw it up after clipping on the lead – the GSD-Malamute lunged and the clip came undone.2). After a lot of use, the piece of spring metal that pushes the clip closed seems to get weak, and can lead to the clip not fully closing.If you take the extra second or two to screw the barrel up and secure the clip, then both issues are not a big problem.

    There is nothing to dislike about this lead. Long enough that the dog can have some freedom and ideal for training your dog to walk to heal

    I got the large and small leads, large for my gordon setter puppy(7 months) and the small for my cocker spaniel(5 months) I have the collars too which I will say are just as amazing, the quality of this brand is outstanding! It’s shown in the packaging and quality of the products, the handles of the leads even have a quilted appearance and feel which will help my poor hands which are currently covered in bruises from the extendable leads I’ve been using, I’m actually looking forward to tomorrow walk.

    I bought this lead to match the collar – so purely for aesthetic reasons! But I must say I am thrilled with it, it has a padded handle which is really comfortable to hold, and it can extend a long way which is great for walks. Would highly recommend
