Easy to use! Good value for money, switched from a flexi lead to this and my dog walks so much better and doesn’t pull at all

**EDITTED TO ADD although still happy month or so on, the black leather ‘grip’ does loosen quite easily. It’s not awful but it doesn’t hold the tension completely firm.**Arrived vaccum packed, easy to open. Feels a good quality, sturdy lead. I bought the 1.8m x 1.3cm version for my 31kg Lab and it fits and holds him fine. The plastic clasps are a little chunkier than I expected but I don’t think it’ll cause a problem. The leather slider has a good grip on the lead and doesn’t slide undone under pressure.I love the purple colour. My only slight hesitation with it is that I am 5’6″ and like to walk with me hands in my pockets. The lead at 1.8m means when my dog is walking to heel, the loop almost touches the floor and sometimes it gets caught with his front leg. But this is just something to get used to, I actually like the longer length for non-heel work so he can have more space to sniff.

This is great value for money- however, it states it is for a small dog/puppy. I have a Maltese and found it too ‘bulky’ for him- needless to say, fantastic quality for the money. I would recommend that this is for a medium sized dog.

Used this for my brother’s Cocker Spaniel (who has notoriously pulled on walks). When using this in a figure 8 loop, it is night and day. He walks next to you with minimal, if any, pulling and it makes our walks much more enjoyable. My brother has chosen to use this as his permanent lead. The dog did take a while to get used to it, and tried to remove it a few times, but they will get used to it, and hopefully after being trained don’t this lead, they will be good enough to transition to a regular around the neck collar lead, without pulling. I would 100% recommend this with the figure 8 if your dog pulls on leads.

Our Shih Tzu Can be quite reactive at times, there seems to be no rhyme nor reason why she’s fine with some dogs and not with others. We had a harness lead prior to this, but couldn’t keep her focused as she’d always ne pulling her head back to bark at other poor pups. This lead was suggested to me as a way of better controlling her when she agitated. Seems to work much better for this. No need for pulling, just a gentle reminder to her to keep to the right direction.I really like that it’s long and the reflective pattern is an added bonus for night walks.
