Amazon Basics Folding Soft Dog Crate
Whether heading to a friend’s house or simply hanging out at home, the Amazon Basics Folding Soft Dog Crate provides ultimate comfort and convenience both you and your pet will appreciate. The soft-sided dog crate pops up in seconds (no tools needed), quickly creating a welcoming den-like space for your pet, while zippered closures ensure safe, reliable containment. The portable dog crate works well for crate training and makes it easy to temporarily contain your pet no matter where you go, plus it offers a comfortable go-to spot when your pet needs to rest.
Durable, Comfortable Design
A strong, yet lightweight PVC frame maintains the crate’s overall shape without adding unnecessary weight, while beige-colored heavy-duty polyester fabric over the top, bottom, and sides of the crate provide a softer, more forgiving surface to curl up against, compared to a metal or hard-sided crate. Add a dog bed (not included) to the fabric bottom for extra warmth and comfort when placing the crate on a hard floor. The crate’s rounded corners protect floors and car interiors from unwanted nicks and scratches, and its durable water-resistant fabric can be hand-washed with soap and water and air-dried (as needed).
Window Ventilation
On three sides, the crate provides a black mesh-fabric window in the dog-friendly shape of a bone. The windows allow for important ventilation and give pets a good view of the outside world, plus allow pet parents to peek inside.
Front and Top Doors
The crate’s three-sided front door can be unzipped and the mesh-fabric flap rolled up and secured out of the way to allow your dog to come and go freely. A second three-sided door on top of the crate makes it easy to set your pooch in from above. Fastening straps keep the rolled up doors positioned neatly out of the way. Zip both doors shut to keep your pet securely contained inside.

Perfect size for our Patterdale/Border Terrier cross, and a great size for our campervan. Previously we had a flimsy, pop-up style, this is so much better and still allows us to pack it away on our trips when space is at a premium. Good quality canvas and mesh and the stitching appears robust. Once assembled, the rigid structure means we can pack items around the kennel without having to worry about encroaching on our dogs space or safety. Definitely worth the money.

Light, does the job very well. Not cumbersome, readily assembled. Good size. Safe for my dog. Easily wiped down. Surprisingly sturdy.

I bought this for my guide dog as i am taking him on a plane soon and, although he will be in the cabin with me at all times , it is a requirement by Qantas to have a folding crate in the hold in case of unexpected diversion to a country which isn’t covered by his passport. He is a 36kg retriever cross. 65cm to the top of his shoulder and 1.10m from tip of nose to base of tail. He has plenty of room to sit, stand, turn round and sleep. He’s very comfortable in this crate (I assembled it and had him use it as a bed for a week, so it will have his smell if needed, then he’ll be happier). I hope not to need it as that will mean we were unexpectedly diverted, which is the last thing I’d want on a long enough journey already. The crate is made from a strong and durable material . It is very easy to assemble; I’m registered blind and assembled it easily, so can honestly say this crate can be assembled blindfolded! (Sorry, blind humour!) It’s very lightweight considering its size. I like that there is a zipped opening front and top and meshed ‘windows’ at the sides, so if needed, he can watch what’s going on around him.Fingers crossed, the crate will stay in the hold for our journey

I’ve just bought the small crate for my dachshund puppy after moving him from a big metal crate. I bought the large one previously for my older dog about 6 years ago, she loves it and it is still in immaculate condition. The puppy spent more time in her bed than his own crate so I decided to buy him his own, he loves it…so does she, she had to try it out for size (she’s a German Shepherd cross and fitted inside to sleep!)I fully recommend these crates, I have found them to be well made, durable, comfortable as they offer a cave like retreat for the dog. Easy to keep clean as the inside is wipeable and the entrance on the top saves climbing inside to clean.I have used a memory foam mattress with mine which gives them added comfort and encourages them to use the beds.5***** product

Used this to transfer our rescue spaniel home and it fitted on the back It seats lovely and used it at home for her safe space for a few days while settling in.Easy to store until needed and really pleased with our purchase, got rid of our big metal crate as this is so much nicer.

I needed a crate for the dog in our new car, measured up and went with this. Then I found it doesn’t fit my car. However…We’ve been having behaviour consultations for the dog. He’s very highly strung and gets quite anxious so rather than return the crate, we put it in a quiet corner of the living room and he loves it. It’s become his safe space and he will go and chill out in there when he needs to decompress. The crate is really simple to assemble and is also easy to fold down and pop in the boot of the car when we go away, that means we can settle him in his crate when we stay in hotels. It’s really great and a good price as well.

Quick to assemble, and fits on the back seat of the car. Quick delivery, reasonable price. I had to use for my pup as she was very unhappy with her harness, and I had to take her in the car safely and stress free. Not needed now but good the have to use if needed.

Took me a minute to figure out then looked at the instructions, it’s not rocket science but does take a very firm push making sure all skin is out the way because if not you will scream.

We have a fearful dog and crate training has been a life saver for her. Her crate is her safe place, and her preferred place to sleep, so having a travel crate means that we can provide this added comfort and feeling of safety for her when we travel. It also means that we can be sure she won’t get up to no good if we have to leave her alone in a strange place! It is easy to use, simple to unfold and fold back up again. I usually fold her bed into the crate, so everything is packed neatly together and we slot it into the car, between the front and back seats. We have the 90cm crate and I drive a Suzuki Alto and have no issues fitting it in.A great purchase and worth the price tag if your dog loves their crate, or needs to be kept safely while youre away from home.
