This was very easy to assemble squirrels have been looking to get to the food but not managed yet, easy to clean not very heavy all in all a good quality feeder

I was rather reticent to spend £50 on a bird feeder but the cheaper ones bought previously tend to clog and are difficult to clean. Also they are used by squirrels and larger birds. This however is a worthwhile investment and keeps the larger creatures at bay allowing the smaller birds to feed in peace. A breeze to clean due it’s clever construction. So impressed just ordered two more.

Excellent large capacity bird feeder that is squirrel proof.

This was immediately a huge hit with the birds and no squirrels or larger birds are able to access it although the pigeons eat all the dropped seed underneath. The only thing that I struggle with is that small plastic ring which is quite difficult to put in place and doesn’t really fit snugly.

This is an excellent product. It keeps the seeds dry and keeps the squirrels and pigeons off. I definitely recommend it

This is expensive but you get what you pay for. We’ve had trouble with squirrels in spite of using so-called squirrel-proof feeders. We also have pigeons that clear out a feeder full of sunflower hearts before we get up in the morning! A heavy bird on the perch causes the feeding access to close up. It comes with a strong bracket to hang it from, and the top is covered in a metal shield that keep the rain off the feeder and the food inside it. It’s only taken three days for our very cautious bluetits and robins to find it and use it. Really pleased with it.
Mr. J. P. Robins –
This is very well thought out and engineered. I have yet to see any big birds or rodents attempt it. Started with sunflower hearts as recommended and although the level has reduced a little have yet to see songbirds on it. They take a while to get used to it. The hopper holds a lot. I am pleased that I got the smaller size. It is well sheltered from the rain that is coming down how. It has taken a long time for the little birds to get used to it but well used now

This has finally defeated the squirrels. There are two metal tabs on the bottom and they bent them down! But the seed is protected.

Loads of small birds on it already let’s wait and see what the squirrels think of it tomorrow. No sqirrels and we’ve got loads around us.I don’t know why but today day 3 the birds won’t go near it, I wonder why as the previous 2 days they’ve emptied the seed twice? Any help please

If not the Rolls Royce of bird feeders it is certainly up there with the BMWs & Mercs ! Bought to keep our small garden birds happy whilst defeating the onslaught of larger birds cleaning out all the bird food or food catching the eye of the odd ratty invader. The perches are based on a “weight of bird” system – any bird too heavy & the little trap doors defeat all attempts to linger. Well, except for some of our devious “bandits” – jackdaws are so clever – you can actually see them working their strategies out. Not many succeed (or should that be “suck seed ?) but it so much fun watching them try we don’t mind ! We hung this feeder from a shepherds crook stand (Gardman I think) & it’s perfect. Even funnier if you grease the pole part – never seen a jackdaw look so embarrassed sliding down without it’s breakfast. To soften the humiliation we feed them separately (suckers that we are). Any food that the small birds drop is soon taken care of on the ground underneath by the “sweepers” – blackbirds & a few wood pigeons who are by no means as daft as they look !
