Ok, it’s not a heavy duty bird table but for the price it’s great. Took about 20-30 minutes to put together and all pieces fitted together well. I have it as a second table and have placed it under a hangover as it doesn’t look as if it would do particularly well out in all weathers but a coating of wood treatment wood help with this. It’s also not very high but, again, still VFM. It’s a pretty, easy to assemble table and would be a great project for children too (supervised).

Super quick delivery, great seller. My husband butchered this and used the stand and legs to create a bracket so it attaches to our fence , he also painted it to match. He said it needs coating as the wood will soak up water otherwise and not last too long. It’s also quite small if you did have it on the original stand. But for the price paid it’s a nice cheap bird table, probably would not stand a good gust of wind on legs though, but if you do adapt it to fit a fence then perfect ! .. I have never had a bird table before and was surprised how quickly the birds can find food ! Although magpies are remarkably clever at squeezing in it ! .. we bought a bird bath from the same seller, and they started to use this straight away too.. gave us all something else to look at ,as we are sick of looking at each other ..lol

It came well before the predicted time and very quick to assemble – providing you read the instructions carefully!Would like to have had the wood all the same colour and I did get a splinter where the wood split. There were holes pre-drilled but I had to drill holes for the struts to go into the main body . (Arthritis and 80years of age – no mean feat! ) I also had a flash of inspiration to drill holes in the base pieces – one of my good ideas! – I then put tent hooks through and into the ground to stabilise it as its a bit flimsy.Works a treat! looks good! and what a price! – brilliant!!

Arrived in a very narrow box and I couldn’t believe how a bird table had been delivered in something so small! But after a bit of screwing and puzzling it was soon up, and looking fantastic.Couple of points -the central pole comes in two parts and is not very sturdy when using the supplied little screw – I recommend using some wood glue so that it’s nice and secure. The wood is not weatherproof out of the box so it needed a couple of coats of fence stain before going out into the garden.Looks ace now it’s done, and fastened down with some garden lawn pegs (purchased separately)

I decided that I needed another bird table for the garden. Looking around I found that some were well over £100. I then say this one and thought, well it will not be of the highest standard material but you could buy ten of these for the price of one top class one. It arrived a day early in a small box. I assembled it straight away and that took no more than half an hour. For the really cheap price you get the cheapest wood but the construction and design of it makes it remarkably sturdy. If you want it to last a few years you will have to paint it with some preservative of course but frankly it would probably cost more for the preservative than the table cost. It is not the tallest of tables but I am absolutely delighted with it. The birds love it, so what’s not to like? It even has a roof! 5-stars from me.

I needed a table to place under a large bird hanging feeder in my garden, I thought about buying wood and making one. Then I saw it this table which I felt would be perfect. Pleased to say that it is and assembly was very easy, the only downside is that the wood has not been treated, but for the price I wasn’t expecting it to be, a quick coat of spray paint did the job, and as I only wanted a table top and didn’t put on the roof all in all a good buy !

  7. sue

A nice birdtable, that was quick and easy to Assemble. I can also hang nuts and fat balls from the sides of the table, the bread does not blow of the table with it having a little ledge nearly all the way round, there are two gaps at either side, so i can use my little brush to clean all the bits of that are left or any leaves that have blown on to it, also with it having a roof on the food and the birds keep nice and dry. A lovely bird table that looks nice in my garden.

Cheap as chips what a great product it was easy to put together I stained and varnished it, I had to use a stake to keep it steady I get lots of bird visits

  9. E Ashley

I lovely little bird table , could easily blow down as not heavy. We have put bricks on the legs so it stands firm. Get lots of birds on it and even the squirrel comes and visits. Please be sure to remove old food at the end of the day, we only put a hand full and it’s all gone by the end of the day.
