Burns Puppy Range
About the range
The Burns Puppy diet contains a controlled level of protein and fat, ensuring your puppy follows a slow and steady growth pattern. Experts agree that a slow growth pattern is the healthiest way for a puppy to develop and helps to avoid skeletal problems later in life. Healthy bone and muscle development are supported by the lower protein level in our puppy range. Highly digestible carbohydrates ensure your puppy has plenty of energy to play all day whilst helping to maintain a healthy digestive system.

Switched from IAMS to this after reading reviews online. Our puppies dumps were far too runny and usually had elements of blood in there too. This stuff is brilliant, puppy loves it, poops are firm and blood has gone. He’ll be on this brand for life

Thought I would try this food as had good reviews my puppy absolutely loves it and I don’t have to add wet food anymore . He was getting an upset tummy on his other food but this food has put a stop to this I would highly recommend

We feed our 7 month old Lab retriever on Burns and have done for all but a week we have had her. The breeder had her on a cheaper pet food store brand and she wasn’t reacting well to it when we got her home. However, since moving her to Burns she has loads of energy, her coat is amazing and she has had no stomach problems at all.If you found this review helpful, can you please help me by clicking on the helpful button. Thanks.

When we got our French Bulldog puppy the vet recommended Burns dog food. We immediatly started on the Puppy Mini and then progressed to the larger Puppy Orginal as the dog got bigger. The dog seems to really enjoy both the Lamb and Chicken flavours as she always vaccums it up as soon as we put it down for her to eat.In terms of quality I can say that our dog is in really good health (4-5 km walking a day which is a fair amount for a French Bulldog), her coat is in great condition, she has regular, firm poops and she doesn’t have stomach issues or excessive wind which is a common issue with French Bulldogs. As an added bonus ordering online with Amazon is far cheaper than the vets :)Hope this helps 😀

I was recommended this by a dog trainer because my dog has a lot of energy and she seemed a little under weight. The puppy food was slow release and high in calories which is what she needed, bearing in mind that she is 3 and a half years old, but really benefited from this, as other dog walkers noticed a difference within a week. Her rib cage was not so prominent, and her coat (shiny as it is) was even more shinier. Overall, it’s good on the stomach, and give her what she needs.

There’s no nice way of writing this so I apologise but after the first day of being on this food, my puppy has stopped stinking the whole house out with her farts and her poos are better formed and not as loose. I’ll update in time regarding her skin condition.

Kibbles are about 0.7cm big and very crunchy. I use this food as treats during walks and my puppy loves them. No upset tummy too.

While I appreciate that this product is sometimes criticised because of its relative low level of protein in comparison to some other products on the market, I found this food perfect for my puppy who has a very sensitive stomach. It’s literally the only food that she would eat and I make it even easier to digest by soaking it in some tepid water for a few minutes before serving. My dog is now on the adult version of this flavour and a year on is loving it and doing really well health wise.
