Vision Cage/ Home for Birds
Vision bird homes have many revolutionary design features that set it apart from traditional bird cages. Most cages come with pull-out drawers that fail to do a good job at collecting bird waste and create maintenance headaches as a result.
Vision’s unique no-drawer design simplifies cage cleaning-simply detach the cage portion and empty the contents of the base into the waste bin.
The result is less time-consuming, messy cleanups associated with bird keeping, leaving you more time to enjoy your pet. Vision’s deep base can handle multiple types of litter, while raised ridges inside the base provide air circulation and help prevent mildew.
The bird homes also allow non-invasive, exterior access to seed/water cups, reducing stress to birds during maintenance. In addition, multi-grip perches promote circulation and help prevent foot problems. The knock-down cages are easy to assemble with a five minute quick, click-snap assembly,
Includes : 2 waste shields, 2 cups and 2 perches
Vision bird homes are available in a variety of sizes, as well as in small or large wire cage sizes. They are recommended for bird species as listed due to their natural behaviors and not by size of bird. The medium cage is suitable for budgies, canaries, finches, parrotlets and lineolated parakeets.

Quality well thought out bird cage. Easy to put together, took 10 minutes. Design certainly helps reduce mess landing outside the cage. Two drop down doors alongside giving access into cage gives a lot more room when re-arranging internal cage etc, they also open outwards to give a perch for your birds, if you are brave enough to let them out! The side drop-down windows in the clear plastic ends in order to reach the green feeding holders make changing food & water a doodle, just make sure you open the window out fully in order to allow you to get the green feeding holders out easily. The clear plastic around the bottom gives you complete visibility for both you and your birds. My two budgies love running up & down on the bottom of the cage while looking out of the cage through the clear plastic. The design of the wire cage with the wires going horizontal means that the birds have greater flexibility moving about the cage. I love the green plastic perches, great design, I often change these around to make things a bit more interesting for my birds. Initially was reluctant to spend the extra money that this cage costs but are now so pleased I did. It’s well worth the money & is a quality, well thought out design that makes life easy to clean the cage out & replace the food & water. This item is obviously designed by someone who actually uses the product.

It’s a very nice cage and love the designe and as it promises there is no mess. It’s also easier to change the feeders without stressing the bird too much. The only thing is that the cage doesn’t clip the the clear plastic bit so the bars are not secured and it’s easy to just knuck it off. I used the white clips to hold it together and used cable ties to keep the sides together.

My green cheek conure uses this for night time and travel only as he has another large cage. OK…. so it’s a great cage but I was about to chuck it ir have to drill holes in order to secure the wire cage to the plastic base because, try as I might, it just balanced on top and would not ‘click’ as stated on the crappy instructions. I notice that lots of other folk on here have had the same issue and emded up chucking the cage away. So, to secure the wire sides to the plastic base GO DOWN ONE RUNG AS YOU PRESS THE METAL INTO THE PLASTIC TAB…..then hey presto you will hear that magical click they keep going on about in the instructions. Once you do the first side this way it then all fits securely and you can lift it safely and it feels very solid. This took me 3 days to fathom out. You’re welcome x

We bought the medium size cage, our budgie loves it, especially being able to stand on the floor and see out.It takes a small amount of construction – but nothing too difficult. The raised floor is great, especially with a good sized sand paper cut to fit with a small gap around the outside – this allows any feathers & discarded husks to fall under the sand paper when budgie moves around, massively reducing the amount of mess which usually occurs around the cage and keeps the inside looking relatively clean. This ultimately also makes it easier to clean the cage.Great design & function.

It was quite straightforward to assemble. Some parts need a certain amount of strength. Other parts just click together. It’s great that you can get to the food/water bowls. Without entering the whole cage. Although I use a water bottle that attaches to the side of the cage. The clear sided bottom, is fab. My birds love to forage for food, amongst the wood chips on the floor. So I can watch them, through the clear bottom. It isn’t to heavy. Which is always a bonus. The only disadvantage is the bars are rigid. So it can be hard and messy, if you want to give them a treat eg celery. But that also means that there is less chance of any accidents occuring. You can buy special bases for this cage. Either a table or small cupboard. I would have liked the choice of hanging the cage, but realise this might not work.

Purchased this cage to house a pair of budgies. The cage is nice, bright and modern looking – the photographs don’t really do it justice. A well thought out design. It comes as a flat pack so it does require assembly. Don’t let that put you off though as it comes with a very detailed instruction booklet and also a ‘quick start’ leaflet to guide you. Follow the instructions, take your time and you can’t really go wrong. It took me about 15 minutes. When completed the cage has a good solid feel to it. The plastic components appear to be of good quality. The tray base in particular is nicely made: it sits on four non-scratch rubber feet and has nicely radiussed corners instead of 90degree corners which can eventually cause stress cracks. The clear debris guard appears to work well too in keeping seed husks and loose feathers within the cage. The bars are silver painted so some care is required if using mirrors and toys with metal clips not to scratch the paint but that is no different to any other cage with painted bars and the paintwork here does seem to be of good quality. It’s worth noting that the bars run horizontally making it easy for a bird to climb up and down the cage sides.A nice point is that every component can (in theory) be purchased individually – should something get broken – with each part listed in the instruction booklet. How easy it may be to order these parts in the UK remains to be seen as many of the Hagen accessories don’t appear to be widely stocked – I’ve been looking for the night cover for this cage but so far with no success.

Vision Bird Cage Medium – For Canaries, Budgies, Lovebirds, Finches. I bought Vision 1 which was absolutely fine but an absolute nightmare to clean. The bottom pull out tray was fine but the rest terrible. The new Vision 2 just about ticks all the boxes. I say just about as you have to remove the top completely to change the bottom, which is fine if your little tweety pies stay at the top. Plenty of climbing space now, slightly longer that the first Vision Medium at 24ins although a little is taken for the bottom piece. Only two perches so you need to get more. No facility for a bath, which I have had to pinch from the old cage. My two parrotlets are not too keen on the feeding stations so I have had to put two more on the bottom of the cage (has to be two as they squabble while eating). It was easy to put together although I took my time as I had visions of snapping something off. The mesh at the bottom can be cleaned each week as it comes off with the bottom so it’s not likely to get gunged up. Best of all it fits very nicely on the old stand and looks a lot better that the ones that are made for the cage. Very nice altogether, I just wish the bottom tray pulled out but I can live with this and I am sure they can.

Take time to read instructions as others have said easy to assemble sides with outside in ask me how I know…!Took me longer than time stated for assembly even with errors but overall no problems.Base dishes, perches plastic but ideal for cleaning, like how you can remove base and floor grill from cage and give a good clean.I added extra perches of apple branches cleaned before installing.Certainly keeps seed husks contained within base.Overall I am pleased with the cage, and with care should last several years and keep my two birds happy and healthy.

I found it a bit fiddly to construct, but that’s just me. Used the cage as a holiday cage for my Caique. My niece took her for a week and reported no issues or problems. We just added 2 small padlocks incase her 2 wee boys thought it would be fun to let the bird out.The cage was easily dismantled and stored in original box for the next time it’s required.Recommended.
