The Hutch Company has been manufacturing Pet & Wildlife homes for over 40 Years.

How did we get started?
The Hutch Company was started in 1982 by Carolyne & Richard Brimm after a request to build a bird table created some serious attention!
What makes our products unique?
What 40 Years of Experience actually means is that we have been listening to our Customers for 40 Years and we constantly change and evolve our designs to suit the pet owners’ needs. We are still a British Manufacturer and as a result, we customise anything upon request.
Why we love what we do?
Being pet lovers ourselves there is nothing more we love than getting loving and positive feedback stories

Environmental Sustainability
We only source timber from FSC/PEFC certified forests. With 3 trees planted for every 1 cut down, we had to stop counting at 6 Million!

Made in the UK means different things to different people. To us, it means we can serve our customers in the best way possible and unlike importers and 3rd party sellers, we offer guaranteed products that are built to last.
The evolution of our product design is continually changing and we actively pursue customer feedback to create the best products possible. All our timber is sustainably and ethically sourced within Europe.

Excellent free standing Bird Table I am very pleased with this table it provides a sheltered place for the Birds to feed and the table itself is neat and stable.

I’ve got a very happy dad now even though it became a late father days gift. He’s also got the accessories to go with it. He’s sadly had to wait longer than expected due to an issue with courier Evri however James (seller) was there to help us! He sent the item by a different courier which arrived next day. He’s been so helpful and understanding! Definitely giving 5* to James and the item! 🙂

This table is well made. And did the job but could’ve done with being bit taller. My fault should have ordered taller one.

Nigel –
Quite a solid sturdy table, good design and ready treated, took 10 mins to put together, its survived a storm or two in the last few days, and the birds have found it easily.

I’ve gone through many bird tables that just blow over and break in the wind – some very expensive ones too. Hopefully this one will last, it seems very sturdy and well made and isn’t too tall – I will update this review on the next very windy day!Very easy to assemble on your own with a power screwdriver. As soon as I put it out and added some seed, a coal tit was straight over and eating from it!Update: we’ve had several strong winds and the bird table is still standing. Excellent Purchase and the birds seem to like it too!Update #2: I’ve had this bird table 2 years now and it has never blown down, even during the severe storms earlier this year. However the ‘table’ part where you put food hasn’t weathered well, the plywood has swollen and peeled apart. The roof and stand are still in excellent condition, so might just look for some outdoor plywood to replace the worn part. Apart from this, it’s a great bird table!

Bought to replace a similar looking table that was at least seven years old (and probably rather older) and had coped well with the wet climate of the Peak District with only now some degree of rot in the smaller pieces of timber. The design was very similar to the original and pleasingly sturdy. The parts were ready treated with preservative and will hopefully be as long lived as the first. Construction was fairly straightforward using readily available tools. The original had been secured using three or four pieces of rock and these sat on the crossbraces of the base. It would have been quite OK sitting on a flat surface but we know from experience that local cats have climbed the table before! The small ledges around the table help to keep the food in place in windy weather but also have small gaps to enable debris to be easily swept away when necessary. After a month of use the table has proved to be stable. The birds seemed to adapt very quickly and it seems likely that the brighter colour of the wood will fairly soon weather to suit the garden
