Having had three dogs who’ve been fed this, and one who initially wasn’t but then started when we got our new puppy, we’re very pleased with this product. We can compare because we saw the transition from one dog food to another. The change in coat was phenomenal and his desire and motivation to eat.The food smells nice and is a good starter with warm water added for puppy mouths. The bowls are always cleared and sometimes our newest pup just sits by his bowl and barks for more.We have it delivered each month on subscription which is really useful. We’re never caught short and never run out.All in all, very satisfied with this product and have recommended it to lots of other dog owners. Top tip is to keep it in an air tight container once opened as dog food can go off.

My German shepherd had this when he was a puppy up to about 12 months when i switched him to ‘Applaws’ as the ‘Arden Grange adult’ seemed to lack somewhat in nutrition (for any unsure if they’re looking or thinking about weaning to adult food!).When i first brought him home, I was probably like most newbie owners, I wanted a food that was good for my dog (not packed with rubbish/fillers) but at the same time didn’t cost me an arm and a leg, after a few trials and errors of other foods, he seemed to settle on this well and the nutritional value is quite good (for a 12kg bag i think i paid approx £40ish and would last me just over a month. This food may not be to the high standards as some other foods available but this suited my pup perfectly, his tummy seemed a little tender to other foods, this firmed up his stool, he always ate it, reasonably priced and he looked well on it, he went (and still does now) to the vets on a monthly basis for a general check up and flea protection and they always complimented how good he looked (he has good genes too though!).If you’re new to this food start on a small bag and slowly wean across, if he doesn’t agree with it try another food, what works for one dog won’t necessarily work for another and i think people forget that sometimes.

Meet Rocha, our 10 month old chocolate Labrador pup. Being a Lab, there is very little she won’t eat but this is where we feel so much better knowing she is getting the best for especially the start of her life.We do tweak the food and provide some extra treats with the food, a bit of fresh carrot and some cucumber (I’m told off if I spoil her too much)Rocha loves it and used to almost inhales it but is now getting the hang that we’re not going to remove it so takes her time (Labrador relative time)Thanks

After several parasite treatments and visits to the vets, feeding boiled chicken and rice more often than not, trying other extremely expensive prescription foods or high end grain free options – with no success – I figured we would try arden grange as it’s what we feed our (bengal) cat – picky eater but accepted AG and thrives on it.Bingo! Her tummy settled within a DAY! As a giant bred she is now gaining weight and size appropriately, bright eyed and her (short flat) coat shines. Best(?) of all her eliminations are firm and easy to pick up after her!Arden grange is reasonably priced for a clearly good quality product and I heartily recommend it.

I’ve given it 5* for flavour. No, I haven’t eaten it I’m just going on my George’s reaction to his dinner dish being put down. Having said that George is a 7 month old English Setter who attacks anything resembling food with gusto. Seriously – this is a good quality food which I chose because I’m really fussy about what our dogs eat. I would much prefer it if it came on a resealable bag – I’m hoping that Arden Grange will pick up on that.

I fed my puppy on James wellbeloved kibble from 8 weeks old, and then randomly they changed the shape of the kibble, he refused to eat it. It’s been a constant battle since, I thought it may have been a health issue, since it was immediate, but this was ruled out by the vet. I could do nothing or add nothing that was good enough for him to eat it, so I changed, to another brand, same story.. so cheese became involved and gravy and tuna, or my puppy would literally starve himself.I was recommended Arden grange by a local kennel, the bag came, and I’ve never seen my puppy gobble down his food so contently. I thought it may have been a fluke, and was worried for breakfast today, but he was so excited to eat it again, and once again a bowl licked entirely clean. I pray it lasts, this brand has saved my skin entirely. Thank you so much.

Perfect size kibble for my Golden Retriever puppy (currently 7 months old), seems to have a good crunch. He has choked on other large breed puppy food before as the kibble seems too small and flat but this is a great shape and size. The only food he has maintained interest in. Poos are healthy with normal frequency. His coat is glossy and skin healthy (suffered with dandruff on his previous premium food). He has a good amount of energy but isn’t hyperactive. Will definitely be sticking with this food and switching him over to the adult version when the time comes.

Dog enjoys eating the food and seems very healthy on it
