The media could not be loaded. Purchased this as my outdoorsy cat likes laying on the lawn, picking up fleas and dispersing them indoors. We have recently switched to a spot-on treatment that kills flea EGGS as well as adult and larvae fleas – as Frontline is sadly no longer effective in clearing his infestation – but I need to wait another week before applying it.After vacuuming and flea-bombing the house last week, I came across the advert for these tablets and I thought they may give my cat some relief from his constant scratching, and our ankles relief from flea bites. My thinking is that they will help us in the interval before I can apply his new, more effective, spot-on treatmentToday I read the instructions and all of the informative reviews (thanks!) and I decided to keep my cat indoors in one room for the duration of the treatment because I didn’t want any resulting hyper activity making him unmindful of the road. (Plus, I didn’t want him shedding freeloaders all over the house).I armed myself with super sticky paper, a magnifying glass and my strongest glasses. Then I fortified myself with a small glass of red wine. This is the timeline of events:11:30 – I hid the tablet in a couple of mouthfuls of his favourite wet food. He gulped, spat out the tablet, stared at me balefully then carefully ate around it. I tried again after moulding the tablet within his wet food exactly like a pill inside an IKEA meatball and this time SUCCESS! He crunched the tablet with the same expression I would have if I belatedly noticed something odd in an irresistibly delicious mouthful.11:40 – He settled down to sleep. This lulled me into a false sense of “Is that it?!”11:45 – He roused and started casually licking his tail, butt, chest and anywhere else he could reach.11:55 – His licking becomes more frenetic and is accompanied by scratching. He pauses to look at me balefully as if to say “I bet you had something to do with this”.11:56 – I see my first flea – a very big one: possibly the Arnold Schwarzenegger of fleas – on the ground, on its back, doing a dying flea impression with legs flailing in the air. I wince, then swoop down with the sticky paper to ensnare it. I am Spider Woman (if Spider Woman’s costume was baggy lounge pants and an oversized “Imperfectly Perfect” t-shirt.12:00 – 12:45 – cat is doing LOTS of scratching and licking. And I am trailing him, with my flea detector radar on full power, gluing the ejecting blighters to successive strips of sticky roll which, when full or too yucky for me to want to hold anymore, I fold over and discard in the general waste.12:45 – I notice the drop outs are becoming smaller and the pseudo scientist in me hazards a guess that the big ones needed to feed more often and so they bit and consumed my cat’s toxic blood first. The smaller younger fleas need a less frequent nibble, hence why they are tumbling out after their parents and older siblings have had their last supper.13:15 Cat is going through his last flurry of agitation. I’m still mopping up fleas (yes I will also comb him, vacuum and flea bomb /spray later). Strangely this last set are of mixed sizes. I surmise that these were dieting fleas who waited until they felt no one was looking before they put their heads down to binge feast. The fools!13:20 – Cat is no longer excessively agitated. I feed him some more wet food as an “I’m really sorry” treat. He side-eyes me with a “I’m going to eat this now but if anything funny happens again I will wee on your sofa”.13:30 – I release him from confinement. He immediately goes outside and lays on the lawn …As a serious tip, I strongly recommend you ensure that your cat is up to date with his worming tablets as, when licking, they may consume dead or live fleas which will release their own worm parasites inside your cat’s digestive tract.

constantly at war with little critters on my fur babies. I’ve tried everything and spent a small fortune to no avail. So last night I spent ages combing them until I was convinced I’d got them all then did the whole wrap them in a towel and force the jaws apart thing as their is no fooling my two hidden in food. I have a cream sofa and was shocked an hour later when about 20 dead or dying fleas lay in their spot. I used a sticky lint roller to pick them up and fingers crossed they seem to be flea free! Obviously I’ve done all the home cleaning too but not gone in to detail about that. Incredibly cheap and incredibly effective. Highly recommended!

At last something has actually worked. The back of the neck drops just did nothing this year. I tried flea collars, even the expensive, 8months type.. Useless. The fleas even thrived underneath the actual collar. I did not hold out much hope for the tablets, but to my enormous relief, the critters are falling out of my cats fur dead or dying. All 3 of my cats took the tablets with little fuss, so theycannot taste too bad. For the day of taking the pill the cats were lethargic. One even cried, but felt better when I groomed out the fleas and have her a cuddle. That was the long haired cat who had the worst infestation and is fairly highly strong generally. By the evening, all were brighter and eating as normal again. Next morning they were fine.My cats usually had similar reactions to the neck drops.Just put those observations in to reassure anyone seeing similar mild reactions.

Our 8 year old fluff ball cried for 20 minutes after just 1 dose as all her unwanted guests packed their cases and started to move out – this after 2 doses of Frontline and a new flea collar which didn’t worry them. Her brother said whatever and went back to sleep but after about 30 minutes his were on the move too. A really effective treatment.

Summer again which means fleas!!. I pop one into my cats mouth and within 15 mins you really do see them “fall off and die”. Within an hour my cat is clear of fleas I recommend combing through the cat to remove dead bugs and hoovering where they have been as they drop off the cat. I give every 3-4 days until the pack has gone and whilst I fumigate the rest of the house.Tablet is really small so it’s easy to give to your cat without problems

My poor cat was pretty infested with fleas recently. I only missed his flea drop treatment a couple of times but it was long enough to lose effect. I never thought these tablets would do much but gave them a try. They are incredible! They really really work. I gave him one per day for 2 days and then another 2 a week later. For a start I didn’t expect him to eat them, as he usually doesn’t eat meds in food. But he didn’t even notice. It was such a relief to get them down him and within a day the fleas were actually dropping off him dead. They have totally cleared his fur, I can’t believe how effective they are. It’s so unusual for a product to actually match up to its claims! The only other thing I did was spray his bed and all soft furnishings with a flea spray. I tried a Johnson’s one and a frontline version. He hates bathing so I used some nourishing pet wipes to clear the fur and skin of flea dirt. The whole thing was a bit stressful but it’s so satisfying to brush him now and see nothing, and I’m sure he’s feeling a lot happier

We have two cats which since last winter have had a continual infestation of fleas..Each raise of the back leg resulted in me pouncing on them with the flea comb so that the pair realised they only needed a half hearted scratch to indicate where the flea was and I’d resolve the problem for them.Bedding was boil washed, chemical warfare conducted across the house and every form of dab going on the back of their necks and the only effective method was the comb and my thumbnail (or straight in the winter – little sods pop).So as the expensive drops have failed why not try a cheap tablet – glad I did.Since they were mixed in with their food every innocent scratch which resulted in me leaping on a cat with a comb has been negative.

Tiny little tablet, no problems with giving it to my three cats, I have tried so many different products, but none work as good as these tablets. It you want to stay flea free, just give this product a try.You get six tablets and the cost is very affordable compared to others.

We were in constant war with flees on our 3 cats that go outside occasionally. Spot ons, strays, collars, brushing… Nothing helped. But this…. Within an hour of giving the pill one of inside cats start going crazy. Meowing, licking his fur, running around… We could tell he was in distress ☹️ He is allowed on my bed and light coloured sheets revealed hundreds of flees dying 😳 Lint roller was super handy collecting all that fell from his fur before washing all the sheets. We were brushing him daily and were trying to keep up prior with those little buggers for months, but to see the severity and the amounts of flees coming off him… Have never seen anything like this in my life. THIS IS AMAZING PRODUCT. And while your pet might feel uncomfortable for couple of hours… Its for his/ her own good to better health. Will be definitely buying more for the future, in case the flees reappear.

Every time I slip giving my two cats their monthly spot-on it’s noticeable because they start twitching.I give them one of these little pills the day before I resume the normal monthly treatment.I’m not kidding when I say you can actually see the fleas jumping ship; It’s gross!Over the years I’ve tried everything, these actually work and is very simple to use.
