Best cat litter, last for ages, just scoop out business and top up, no need to constantly clean litter tray, no smells …. highly recommended ❤️

This is my second purchase of this 60 liter package. I didn’t want to write any review when I received my first order in June 2016 so that I can properly test this product. The 60 litres package comes in three bags – 1 X 40 litres (17.2 kg) and 2 X 10 litres (4.3 kg each) – total 21.5 kg.Positives, from my experience:1) Flush-able – very, very handy when it comes to disposing your cat’s poo. Just put the poo in the toilet and flush.2) Clumping – clumps your cat’s wee into balls, which you can then flush down the toilet.3) Odourless – keeps the pissy odour away very effectively, better than the sand types. No odour from the clumps even.4) Less cleaning – once a month full clean and refresh of litter tray, unlike the sand versions. All that is needed is a top-up every now and then if the litter level is too low.5) Save money – 60l should last you 6 months, if not more. Which means you spend about £65 per year only. My first order arrived Jun 18, 2016. I still have one 10l packet as of Nov 1.Not so positive:1) Tracking – the litter does track a bit, but I didn’t find it that terrible in contrast to some other reviewers’ opinions. A good cat-litter carpet will be able to trap most of it.As a background, we have four cats – two Maine Coons and two tabbies, and all outdoor cats.We have used various typical brands, including Catsan and the supermarkets. While these brands generally work, we did have issues with the odour if you don;t clean up as soon as the cats have done their business, which meant cleaning the litter tray every three to four days. Anything more than that, the smell of cats piss and, worse, the stinging ammonia effect on your eyes (we put our cat litters in the bathroom, naturally), became very unbearable. So, we needed a litter that eliminates odours totally, but more importantly, one we can dispose off the poo easily and don’t to put in a plastic bag (which stank the rubbish bin every week ahead of the rubbish collection day). For full disclosure, I have not tested any similar flush-able cat litter, so I wont be able to compare between brands. I ordered Cat’s Best Oko Plus via Zooplus EU, Austria. Delivery was faster than advertised – should take between six or seven days to arrive from the date of order. If you order from a UK supplier, it would probably cost you £3 more (not very substantial, I know, but we save wherever we can).

We’ve recently got a new kitten after losing our older cat a year ago. Our old cat had not used a litter tray for years so I had forgotten how many different litter products and types were on the market. At first we tried a clumping (clay) litter from the local Pet Shop and it clumped perfectly, the problem was that the smell was overwhelming at times, as there was literally no odour control and to top it off the clay itself also smelt pretty rank once wet. So we switched to a natural wood litter, once again from the local pet shop. This was great at odour control but did not clump and the consistency was so course (small wooden pellets) that the kitten often struggled to bury his business. Anyway a little researching lead me to this product Cat’s Best Oko Plus which so far has ticked all the boxes. The consistency is close to something like large Porridge Oat Flakes, it clumps brilliantly and is so far the best I have experienced for odour control so far.Being a natural product, it’s easy to sift out the clumps and flush them away down the toilet a couple of times a day. We have quite a large deep litter tray and it takes around 10L of this particular product each time, and like others customers have stated we fully empty, clean and renew the tray every 2 weeks. 60Litres should hopefully last 10 weeks, allowing the leftover for top ups of the tray.As others have said the only downside is that you end up with some tracking as the product is quite light, so it is inevitable that a cat will bring some of it out of the tray. Easily fixed with an old Bath Mat at the front of the tray and some extra hoovering. This marketplace seller is selling this for cheapest I have seen, even with the P&P added on. It came from Austria and took just over a week to arrive. It arrived well Packaged in a strong cardboard box which contain a large 40L bag and 2 smaller 10L bags. I will be regularly ordering more when needed.

For years my family bought wood-based litter for our cats, and at one point were buying one every week (or 4 at a time) that was around £36 to £40 spent each month vs this which lasts far longer. The wood-based was taking up a lot of space in the bin, which was causing us problems due to bin collections being fortnightly, and also putting each tray-load in the bin was a literal pain due to limited mobility from disabilities. This litter has been incredible in the 3 years we’ve bought it – just to be able to flush it and top the tray up has made a big impact and made our lives easier. When the tray is fully emptied to be cleaned (fortnightly for us, but could go longer) the bag of waste litter is lighter than the wood-based. I’ve noticed that odor is far reduced. 60l (came as 2 sacks, adding to 60l) is going to last a very very long time. The only downside is the material is light and easily kicked out of the tray and tracked around – a mat in front of the tray has been helpful in confining this problem.

I’ve been using this for more than 8 years and it really works better than any other cat litter that I’ve ever used before. It costs a bit more initially per bag, but, it is easier to use, lasts far longer, is easily scooped, and, above all, keeps the odour to a bare minimum. You won’t be sorry that you bought this and your cat(s) will be happy as well! We have seven cats and they have been using this product for at least 8 years and we’ve never had any problems with the quality or use of this product. This product works very well indeed and when you consider the fact that it outlasts and outperforms ANY cat litter on the market, you’ll soon see that it is false economy to buy the cheaper brands as you will have to continually scoop and replace the other litter more frequently.

Let me just start with commenting on the price of this humongous amount of litter that you get for it. The price is more than reasonable, I will even say it’s an absolute bargain. I used to buy the same Cat’s Best litter from other seller for over year now for exactly the same price but it was a 30L bag that lasted about 2.5 months for 2 of our cats. Now, for the same price + delivery cost (£6.90) package being posted from Austria I got a 60L of this wonderful, magic litter which is twice as much and will most likely last for 5 months. I have never seen this kind of price difference, but here you go, things happen, thanks to the seller. It arrived 8 days (coming from Austria) since I placed the order and 4 days since it has been dispatched. Placed order on Thursday afternoon, package arrived on Friday afternoon the next week. It was well packaged in a sturdy carton box and included 1 40L bag and 2x10L bags. And as so many people already commented on how great this litter is, I will simply say – it’s the best you can get, for the best price on the market, hands down. Overall, very happy with the price, delivery and 2 of my cats are certainly happy with the litter itself 🙂
