Established in 1973, flexi is the inventor and world market leader of flexi retractable leads. What began with a conversion of a chain saw mechanism more than 45 years ago has grown into a high-tech product that now leads all developed markets worldwide. New Classic – the classic, perfect retractable lead from flexi, featuring a stylish design and an ergonomic grip handle. It can be accessorized with Multi Box and LED Lighting System (for size S and up). With its innovative Short-Stop Braking System, the New Classic creates a high level of safety and comfort during walks. The modern New Classic leads are available as tape and cord models in sizes XS, S, M and L, each in red, blue, black. Sizes XS, S and M also come in pink. Made in Germany

Very durable, this has been well used and is still in its original working order.Its a nice size handle and comfortable to hold.I had bought a large size previous to this, this was very good too but the medium sized one was what we needed.The locking mechanism is very smooth and easy to use, unlike cheaper versions by other manufacturers.

Bought the small for my miniature dachshund but still a good size and easy to handle grip. Bright colour, easy to see in the evenings. Excellent quality and value for money.

more suitable for people with a,eg male or a bigger hand span the handle is quite thick not as ergonomic quite a thick handle and the curve of handle couldbe improved by being more straight however that aside it works very well ref the retraction good strong spring

I loved, vivid colors, good quality and good price. I actually already had one of those before, still have it and after 5 years is still good even using everyday. Just bought another one because I got the dog a new collar and wanted to match the color. But I 100% recommend this product
Doghouse –
Seemingly well made item (time will tell). Good length and comfortable to use. Doggo gets a decent amount of room to move whilst being saved from the temptation of deer chasing. I’d definitely recommend that a lead of this length is attached to a harness and NOT a collar.

Used in Europe where dogs are often required to be on lead. Ours is 35 kgs. He took a while to get used to it, strange pulling sensation from harness but once he had it worked perfectly.

good and strong my large dog pulled pretty hard on the lead while lock and it held up well no issue 5m is pretty far but isn’t enough for a bigger dog you lose 1m with the length of your dog and not letting it max out to save the mechanism from breaking so it ends up feeling more like 4m id get a longer one next time 8m

This is my 2nd ever lge Flexi retractable, having the first one last me for 3 big boys over 23 years. I’ve replaced to #2 as pup #4 has caught it/ chewed the tape in a couple of places and I feel it’s integrity is now impaired. I must admit I did order a cheaper brand first but did not like the different & cheaper breaking system soreturned it and I’ve reinvested in Flexi. If this one last 23 years it’ll see me out! Feels solid, well made and I know I can trust the quality.
