My dog knows what she likes and doesn’t like and Forthglade is most definitely her favourite food of all. However, the lamb and liver remains her No. 1 favourite and at times I’m convinced she literally inhales it instead of eating it as it disappears so quickly. Please Forthglade, do not stop making this flavour – she and I would be mortified.

Seemed good quality. She bounced at mealtimes to have it. And it disappeared super fast.Kept well in fridge. Had a dog foody smell. She didn’t have stinky farts on this either which she did on other puppy food.

I have been trying to find the right food for my dachshund puppy since I got her. She would only eat her kibble if it had some sort of topper, and even with that she would often turn her nose up at it. Whilst she wouldn’t ever starve herself, I didn’t like that she wouldn’t be getting enough food per day as she grew.I always thought wet food was out of a tin and full of rubbish, which I now know is not the case, but the problem I often found is many wet or natural foods had to be frozen, defrosted and then served. I don’t have the freezer space and is very inconvenient if you’re on the go or travelling. Forthglade was a brand I found on the AllAboutDogFood website – it had high ratings and was not frozen so could be kept in the cupboard.After looking into it, I decided to try my puppy on this food and transition her to it fully. I am so happy I have done this! For the first time ever, my puppy is excited to be having her food and is wolfing it down. I’ve never seen her this interested in food! Since having this, her poops have also been firmer which I am hoping will help with her glands, and her coat remains silky smooth! Plus, I can still travel with a tray of the food which is ideal for trips or visiting other peoples homes.Highly recommend trying this with your puppy as you can tell it is made from good ingredients and they’ll love it.

My dog was the runt of the litter and was born with a cleft palate. I tried everything to make his dinners easier for him to eat and also giving him the nutrition he needs. He loves this food as he can’t cope with jelly in his dinners as it seems to get caught up in his palate. With no jelly and all meat pate he’s now enjoying eating for the 1st time since he came into our home just over 1 year ago. He appears to be weighting up especially his back end so me for 1 are very, very happy with this food and my bandit says thank you as well x

After reading the negative reviews regarding open trays and maggots and such I was apprehensive. This box arrived to me in excellent condition with a long expiry date. I checked each tray and no issues at all. I’m using forthglade because my puppy has suffered horrific colitis trying to transition from raw to kibble. I tried her on many high end foods / Grain free etc as well as highly reviewed prebiotic and her tummy would not tolerate anything. This food was a last attempt before accepting defeat and within 1 day of being fed on it the improvement on her poo was instant. Within 2 days she was producing normal healthy bowel movements which has been transformative for us both. I hate how pricey it is personally but for us it’s worth it.
