My previous Halti lead is still going strong after 2 years but I wanted this one because it is longer, but can also be used on a shorter setting. I wanted the 2 metre option to reinforce recall training which seems to have become an optional command!Also, with the various attachment points, you can loop it around your waist, across your body to be hands-free. Also can be tied to furniture etc when you need your dog to stay put.My other Halti has an adjustable buckle which works well for hands-free walking because I have a small waist. If anyone else is walking my dog, they can change the size. This model doesn’t have an adjustable buckle but has a number of fixed D-loops to adjust to pre-set lengths. I find this set-up works better cross-body for me as it’s too big for my waist. To make this perfect, it would be nice if there were an extra D-loop but this is reasonably priced and high quality and sewing in another attachment point would increase cost.Just to note, it doesn’t have a handle as such, you adjust the length by attaching the clasp to whichever loop you want and this creates a “handle”. I find the material soft, light and comfortable to hold. It’s strong but not bulky so I can wrap it around my hand several times when I want to make it very short e.g. when crossing the road or passing people on a busy pavement (wrapping around hand or wrist not recommended for powerful dogs or dogs that pull on lead).Well-made, durable, secure, well-designed. Recommend for anyone who wants a versatile lead.

I have a large Australian shepherd who is strong and very reactive. Before getting this lead (and the halti harness) I struggled to walk her without the fear of her jumping into traffic or dragging me down the road.This lead has made it so much easier to handle her. When were walking somewhere she’d react, like a main road, the double clip makes miles of difference. Then, it’s easy to adjust for various lengths as required.The lead is very sturdy and very comfortable to hold, though the placement of the middle ring means that you might need to adjust your grip to stop the ring catching.

I needed a flexible lead ( can make short or long) for a new rescue dog to keep him safe and enable him to learn to walk well. This fits the bill perfectly and is very kind to hands too

Exactly what I was looking for. Double ended with hooks along the length to clip onto which make it super versatile. Comfortable to hold and more importantly light enough for my wee 5 kilo pup!

Great lead. Non rusting metal parts. Great for when we are at the beach. Versatile as it has several length options. Strong padded. Comfortable to hold as it has a padded handle. Great colour choice too

I love the halti lead as you can use it in multiple ways. It was recommended to us by a dog trainer when we did puppy training. It’s strong and reliable. We had this style lead from puppy to 4 years old, then we brought a new one as the clip broke (but was still functioning) but I wanted to be able to change the clip position, else it would have still been in use

This lead has been one of the best things we’ve bought since having our Golden retriever. She’s young and excitable but very strong and this lead gives me much more control on walks when clipped to both her collar and harness. She tends just to walk along beside and doesn’t lung or bolt in one direction any more. I feel very confident walking her alone now when using this as a double ended lead due to the better control. It’s thick, comfortable to hold and can be used in many ways due to the multiple rings and 2 clips. Would highly recommend.
