After so many attempts at finding a food my puppy liked he lived this wet food with their dry mixed in. Niw he us a junior and our new puppy loves it too.

A first class food especially for our fussy eater once you open a can of this she begins jumping around until you feed her it is more expensive than some of your other brands but it’s made from quality ingredients that don’t upset your dogs digestive system or cause further skin irritation there’s no going back after using this brand I would highly recommend it smells good enough foe me to eat lol but I don’t think Bella would be overly impressed.

My dog tends to be really fussy with soft food if it’s not in jelly, but actually this was perfectly fine. He was sitting there dribbling a bit while I put it in his bowl, so it seems like he likes the smell. Turns out he likes the taste too. I put the meat on top of his normal biscuits and everything was gone quickly, and the cat decided he wanted some. The texture of the dog food reminds me of pate. I’m guessing it’s made this way as it is easier for puppies to eat instead of large chunky bits. The smell wasn’t offensive as some dog meats are. It does stick to the sides and bottom of the tin though, due to the texture and takes a bit of vigorous scraping to get it all out otherwise there would be quite a lot of wastage. It’s a definite recommend from the dog, and actually the cat too.

James Wellbeloved dog food has always had a reputation for using quality ingredients. I actually tried this puppy food to supplement the dried food my adult dogs have, both dogs certainly enjoyed the taste and cleared all of their food, this is quite unusual for one of my dogs as she is a fussy eater, unfortunately she is not very tolerant of diet change so not really suitable for her. A premium puppy food though to make sure your puppy has a good start.

I’ve tried other hypoallergenic food for my dog who has digestive issues and she just won’t touch it. She loved this and left a clean bowl. It is quite pricey compared with other non-hypoallergenic food on the market, but seems to be reasonable when you compare like with like. If your dog has digestive issues and you’ve been recommended to try a hypoallergenic food, I’d say give this a go.

5 rescue pups say yes to it! They are only 6 weeks and are still getting some milk but they took to this food straight away with no upset tummies. The big feeder pictured has the contents of 1 tin in it. I’ve used James Wellbeloved food before and I like that this is hypoallergenic as it lessens the risk of any allergic reactions. As you would expect with a good brand there are no artificial colours, preservatives or fillers – basically just chicken, rice and some veg.

This is a nicely mixed tin of food which our dog ate without hesitation. A trusted brand and although were were unsure about the mix of veg and chicken as it didn’t seem clear when opening, it was a great miz once out of the tin.

45% chicken, vegetables and linseed oil, that’s it. Our dog absolutely loves this. Not the cheapest but a great option for wet food, and perfect for a puppy (or indeed any age of dog).
