Hibiscrub antimicrobial skin cleanser
Hibiscrub antimicrobial skin cleanser has been used for more than 45 years in hospitals around the world to help manage infection. It is used for pre-operative surgical hand disinfection, antiseptic hand washing on the ward, and pre- and post-operative skin antisepsis for patients undergoing elective surgery.
Containing 4% w/v chlorhexidine gluconate, Hibiscrub is effective against a wide range of microbes, including several strains of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, yeast, fungi and viruses, and reduces bacterial load more efficiently . Hibiscrub has also been shown to significantly decrease the risk of hospital-associated S aureus infections by up to 60% when used in combination with a nasal antibiotic.

This is simply the best soap money can buy.Its unmistakable from other soaps due to its rich pink colour. It’s not the most viscous (thick) of soaps however it lathers up well and is highly effective at doing its job. It cleans incredibly well leaving you feeling really clean and your skin really soft. I also use it as a shower soap and it amazingly leaves my hair feeling soft too.I purchased the 5L bottle as it worked out a lot cheaper per 100ml and I just refill empty hand soap dispensers to use it with which works wonderfully.They apparently use this in hospitals and veterinary surgeries and so if it’s good enough to use there then it’s certainly good enough for home use.Another great thing about it is that it can be used on your kids, even on newborns and on your pets too.It kills various fungi and bacteria again very effectively and It cleared up a fungal infection I had in such a short time that if I hadn’t have seen it for myself, I would have found it hard to believe.If you want a highly versatile and yet effective soap then look no further.I can honestly and wholeheartedly recommend Hibiscrub and it totally deserves the full five stars I have decided to rate it.

I started using this for my dogs skin problem which cleared up where vets had previously failed to cure it. I then decided it would be a good household addition. I put it in an empty foamer hand wash foamer bottle with water for us and keep one by the bath for the dogs paws etc. Buying it in bulk like this works out so much cheaper, so I will be buying again when this runs out.

This is marvellous stuff, I use it for my floor’s, this Disinfectant is very concentrated, Use only small amounts To your water, can be used for animals, you must talk to the vet, , it has many good reasons to us Hibiscrub, ideal for cleansing , health wise, use on a very very mild quantity ,As prescribed by your doctor, very good product for many things, my other bottle last ages, look on the internet, about using this product

It’s great! We got this for my mum after surgery and it’s doing a great job at keeping her scar clean. I also steal some to use on my face – my face skin has been so rough and this has helped so much!

I have to use it on our older dog for washing him in a baby bath as he’s got 2 slipped disks on his spine and he wets and poos himself on long wee mats so he smells if it’s not done every 2 day’s also he licks his white paw till it bleeds so I use it every day to was his paw in a small bowl and then I dry him on towls I’ve brought for him which keeps any infection at bay so it’s brilliantly for these things it would be good if I could get hibiscrub on wet wipes do you do these?

my doctor says this should not be used on the skin or hair / scalp – I ignored his p.c. advice and have had no adverse or dangerous reactions to this anti-bacterial cleanser – I suffer from scalp and facial acne and this solution works as good as oral antibiotics at killing germs on the skin and therefore helping to clear up acne – a highly recommended product which would cost twice the price in a high street pharmacy.

My 8 year old Westhighland White Terrier had 31 alergies, which are external so her skin is always inflamed.. She is such a sweet little dog it breaks my heart to see her in so much stress.. So we wash her 3 times a week in this and it makes a whole lot of difference to her.. She is also on one steriod a day which affects her immune system long term, but I am happy to have a happy little dog for a shorter period than have her longer in stress.. I am not sue how I will react when that day comes.. I am not thinking about it now. But I would recommend it for anyone else in our position.
