I have many products in my garden for feeding the birds.I purchased this feeding tray as I liked the idea of it stopping the seed from landing on the ground, which encourages mice and rats, and which I have a problem with in my garden due to the bird seed. I still want to feed the Birds and Squirrels however.I was unsure whether the Birds and Squirrels would use the tray feeder, so I was very pleased to see that they do.I will be purchasing several more as these are a great idea, plus they hang easily on tree branches and appear to be very sturdy and do not fall off.

Sorry not impressed wanted size 16 so wanted to send back size 10 that came said I couldn’t to expensive to not get right size –

Very well made a good quality product. I have hung my feeder in a tree and the food stays put because its sturdy and a good weight.

Nothing to assemble. Straight out of the box and onto the feeder pole with a suet block in it. Starlings were the first to venture onto this new “thing”. Within 3 days I had blue tits, house sparrows and more starlings enjoying their food. I did have a mesh tray inside a feeding cage to keep the bigger birds from scoffing everything in minutes but herring gulls discovered it this winter and were able to reach in and take the whole suet block! They even pulled the whole cage across the patio so I had to get this as an alternative way to feed the smaller birds. Highly recommend.

The bird food stays dry and because it’s a small size and swings about if larger birds try to use it, smaller birds don’t get bullied.Nice little addition to my bird feeders.
