The base has numerous small drainage holes to ensure the seed stays fresh and dry.

Has built in seed baffles in the diamond shaped mesh tubing which are designed to keep the Nyger seed evenly spread out through the feeder.

Easy to fill and easy to clean with a “twist off” base and lid.

Hints & Tips:

It is always best to fill the feeder with the Supa Wild Bird Feeding Scoop as this allows you to control the rate the feeder is filled at. Nyger seed is such a fine seed that if the contents of a bag of Nyger seed are just poured into the feeder the seed may go everywhere. By trickling the seed into the feeder it can be filled easily.

Nyger seed is rich in oil content and is highly nutritious. It is a firm favourite of Goldfinches and Turtle Doves.

    Trying to tempt Goldfinches into my garden. Seeds are caught in bottom tray instead of with previous feeders lying on the ground.
