The aquarium itself is very good. We are using it to raise two goldfish fry from our fish in the garden pond, together with a few water snails. We’ve been running it for over a month, and the filter system is very effective, and very quiet. The LED light is variable from VERY bright to subdued, although it can be a little tricky to set just right, as you have to press the button on the top to start it dimming, and tap again to stop at the desired level. The plants we have in the tank seem to be thriving under the light.The main point to make about our order for this is that the first aquarium we received had three broken glass panels, out of six!! Amazon were quick to send a replacement, the next day. However, the attempt to return the broken tank was a headache. The product couldn’t be returned by the usual carrier service, Evri/Hermes, so the Amazon advisor said we had to return it by Royal Mail, through the Post Office. However, the Post Office refused to accept it as it contained loose broken glass. Short of cleaning out all of the glass myself, and risking injury, there was no way to send it via Royal Mail. Amazon then offered to collect it, and gave a ‘collection slot’ between 9 am and 8 pm. I told them that was not a ‘collection slot’ it was a whole day of having to wait in for the collection of a product that was damaged before delivery.Take home message … I would strongly suggest that you do not formally accept delivery of the tank until after you have opened the box and checked for damage. If it is broken when you receive it, the delivery service must then take it away. If they complain about having to wait, remind them they have a duty to wait until you are satisfied and accept delivery.I suppose that problem could apply to any aquarium you buy through Amazon, so don’t let that put you off this particular item. We like it.

I bought this tank, for it to be a shrimp tank. I was relieved to see the integrated filter was easy to remove and add your own filter which is suitable for shrimp (after reading negative reviews about this filter and shrimp/shrimp fry). I love the design of the tank. It’s simple enough to assemble and to hide cables. Although it was strange the plug for the light and the filter cartridge was in the outer delivery box, rather than the super fish box. Packaged very well, copious amounts of bubble wrap too. Quick delivery too.

The media could not be loaded. I gained some experience keeping fish whilst doing my course and wanted to set up my own community tank having no supplys of my own. This one happened to be the right capacity for my vision whilst fitting into the space I had available for it. It comes well packaged and with everything youd need to set up a tropical tank. However I replaced the filter for a larger model as too much is always better than not enough. I also added a large air stone and air pump, besides aesthetics it also adds oxygen to the water so the fish can breathe but the filter with spray bay could achieve a similar affect.Have seen complaints about “cheap” black silicone however I think it better maches the top and bottom. Bringing me to the main weak point. In 7 weeks the lid has bowed about 8mm in the center as has the feed flap though not to the same extent. It still functions but is slightly annoying.If I could make 1 suggestion it would be to add a hinge and locking mechanism to the main lid so the thing doesn’t need to be totally removed for servicing the tank. Ill likily to this myself in time but at the moment I use ducktape to stop the back sliding and dowels to keep the front up.

Beautiful tank actually! I didn’t really know what to expect, to be honest. But when it arrived, I was simply more than slightly impressed. It’s well made. Very sturdy and all measurements comply. Even down to how the aquarium lid fits the tank itself, very nicely done. The Pump is good for up to 300 litres.. so more than enough filtration going on.Highly recommended…

Very happy, comes with dimmable lights which you press ontop where the power button is. The filter isn’t strong but it works ok. Looks clean and beautiful very happy !

I had problems with the tank sadly just was not up to standards but could not fault the sellers they was brilliant and returned my item with no problem I would highly recommend the seller
