It’s not quite 48 cm long, I make it 45.5 x 34.2 x 10.5, measured outside rim to rim. The bottom surface (so also the inside) measures 38 x 28 cm. I paid £4.40 each, from RF impex, and mine arrived well within the stated time in minimal (but perfectly adequate) packing: wrapped in a sheet of cardboard taped both ways, but open on shorter sides. Mine arrived in perfect condition and I prefer to have less packing waste. There are multiple listings for this item, one with prime delivery, but quite a bit more expensive and Amazon tend to send this sort of item out packed with reams of unnecessary paper…Whitefurze also do a medium size, which is slightly smaller and only 9 cm deep. I already had both sizes and have just bought another 3 large ones to use as seedling/plant/gravel trays, as they’re an ideal size for my needs.I use a large one as an additional litter tray, which my cats only use for urinating. It’s too small for an adult cat’s only litter tray unless your cat is very careful and you want to clean it 3 times+ per day. If your cats are anything like mine, you will end up with mess outside the tray, and it’s far too shallow to prevent litter being kicked out. I use a 60 x 40 x 17 cm Euro crate as main litter tray. That depth prevents litter being kicked out.However, these are decent quality for the price, last for ages, and I did use them as litter trays for a while/for kittens. Compared to my older ones, those I’ve just bought seem to have a shinier, smoother finish inside, so I’d guess would stay clean/unstained (as litter tray) for longer.

Good Buy, and bought for Cat Stop-Overs, we get a few Strays and on Cold Day/Nights giving Shelter is tricky without a Cat Tray & Cat Litter! (have bought Carpet Shampoo on Amazon too) Bought Both Tray & Litter from Amazon. The Tray is Graphite Grey, Great finish, no Sharps, dents or flaws, surfaces are smooth and Safe.Took a 8 days to arrive – Shipping -worth the wait. Not Christened it Yet but Highly Recommend Quality and This seller.

For the price, this cat litter tray is in my opinion worth a purchase, it is a good size and depth and when I handle it to clean it etc it feels sturdy. You cannot choose the colour – would I have preferred a subtle shade of grey? Well, yes if I’m honest. I received a red one which now resides quietly under the sink in the downstairs bathroom (which yes, is in dire need of redecoration), but all things considered colour barely warrants a cursory mention. It does taper to the base and the sides do curve – this is slight. It measures (approx) 455mm length x 344mm width x 103mm height (externally), 420mm x 315mm x 100mm (internally) and the base itself is 382mm x 280mm. The centre base of the tray doesn’t quite sit flush to the floor so it depresses slightly under their weight, never the less it is strong and the very slight movement does not bother my boys at all and the size gives them plenty of room for turning. I have two cats, one of whom has recently been diagnosed with kidney issues so he is using the trays frequently. This addition now makes us a three tray household which is making life more comfortable for all concerned. The seller also has a pleasant demeanour which rounds my experience off nicely.
